Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before making a booking with Maleny Cottages. By confirming a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Booking and Payment
All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
Your reservation is only confirmed once full payment has been received in our bank account.
Prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD). We do not charge GST.
2. Check-In and Check-Out
Check-in time: from 2:00 PM on the day of arrival.
Check-out time: by 10:00 AM on the day of departure.
Late check-out requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations within 5 days of the booking start date: No refund will be provided.
Cancellations made more than 5 days before the booking start date: A 50% refund will apply.
Refunds will be processed using the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
No-shows or early departures are considered cancellations and are non-refundable.
4. Changes to Bookings
Date changes are subject to availability and must be requested at least 5 days prior to arrival.
Any approved changes may incur additional charges if the new booking period has a higher rate.
5. Guest Responsibilities
Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property or its contents during their stay.
- Should excessive cleaning be required subsequent to your stay or should breakages occur, a further charge will be issued to you.
The number of guests must not exceed the number specified in the booking confirmation.
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all cottages.
Pets are not permitted unless prior written approval has been granted.
6. Liability
Maleny Cottages is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage incurred during your stay, including but not limited to personal belongings, accidents, or weather-related events.
Guests are advised to arrange appropriate travel insurance.
7. Force Majeure
Maleny Cottages is not responsible for failure to perform its obligations due to unforeseen events beyond its control, including natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions.
8. Privacy
Personal information collected during the booking process will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
